Red Dot Red Circle simply describes Singapore and Japan.
Red Dot – Singapore has been known as a “Little Red Dot” due to the way it is marked on some world maps, for having no more than 718.3 km2 of total land area. Though it is still definitely growing thanks to land reclamation.
Red Circle – Japan’s national flag is easy to recognise, a white rectangular flag with a large red circle in the middle. The red circle represents the sun, and the flag is thus commonly known as Hinomaru (circle of the sun).
